Chorianopoulos Aggelos, Athens – On 15 May 2023, in Ramat-Hasharon, Israel, Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) – part of the SK Group – an esteemed global producer of battle-tested firearms for military, police, and various governmental sectors, disclosed a Transfer of Technology and Knowledge (ToT) collaboration with FAME. This partnership aims to introduce an assembly and production line in Peru dedicated to the ARAD range of assault rifles.
Per the collaboration’s stipulations, IWI commits to equipping FAME with insights on assembling small arms, optimizing quality control, and streamlining maintenance routines. Both entities also anticipate future expansions in production to incorporate a broader range of weaponry and compatible optical equipment catering to Peru’s defense mechanisms.
